Previously, the press secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov appreciated the possibility of turning off Russia from international payment systems. According to him, this probability exists, since the introduction of sanctions against Russia is “a fairly unpredictable process.”
At the same time, the sands expressed confidence that in the case of such a development of events, Russians will be able to use the cards of the national payment system “Peace”, which “is already enough”.
Also, Moscow does not exclude the possibility of compulsory disconnection from the international SWIFT banking transaction system. In this case, Russia “will use other possibilities.”
