Iran decided to increase oil production against the United States and sanctions from Washington, the report of the International Energy Agency (MEA) said, excerpts from which TASS leads.
According to the agency, in March, the volume of oil production by Iranian companies reached 2.3 million barrels per day, which is 110 thousand barrels per day more than in April, and is a record indicator over the past two years.
“Iran opened its oil cranes since the end of 2020, challenging the US sanctions. Now it is mining reached the maximum marks for almost two years,” says MEA report.
US imposed repeated sanctions against Iran at the end of 2018, a few months after the country came out of the agreement in the framework of the Iranian six, in which Russia, China, United Kingdom, France and Germany also took part.
The Tehran act, in particular, the prohibition of oil exports and the operations with the US public debt. Nevertheless, Iran remains the fourth in terms of mining member of the organization of oil exporters (OPEC).
