The Bank of Russia called four criteria that are necessary to avoid deception with the contribution. Thus, the representative of the Central Bank in a conversation with RIA Novosti listed a number of issues that need to be a credit institution employee in order not to become a victim of misselling.
“Before concluding a contract, ask an employee of a financial organization 4 questions and ask to clearly indicate where exactly this is written in the contract: whether the yield is guaranteed (a certain rate for the entire term of the contract)? (…) Whether the money is insured by the Deposit Insurance Agency in Amount 1 million 400 thousand rubles? What losses are threatened with the early termination of the contract? (…) Who is the contract – the bank, the insurance company, the broker, the trust manager and so on? ” – said in the Central Bank.
According to the Bank of Russia, Missele is most often happening in banks, where customers come to arrange or extend the contribution, but employees persuade them to conclude another treaty. This is usually investment insurance products, bonds, bank bills and other securities, explained in the regulator.
One of the reasons of the credibility of the clients was the decline in deposit rates. Thus, employees of banks persuaded to issue another product, in meaning close to the contribution, but they promised the usual high rates for it.
Previously, analysts of the Akra agency predicted the growth rates on deposits in Russia. According to experts, banks will be forced to resort to this not to lose customers.
