The rise in fuel prices on the Russian gas stations fit into the limits of inflation. Such an assessment was given to the Ministry of Energy, responding that the agency monitors the situation with gasoline. This is reported by TASS on Monday, April 12.
Earlier, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) explained the reasons for the increase in fuel prices in Russia in the current year. Among other factors, the FAS mentioned the limitations of oil production under OPEC + and Frost agreement.
In early April, it became known that the government was thinking over a new way to combat gasoline prices, since the existing measures do not work. For several weeks there is a discussion of fuel export restrictions.
