The United States of America (USA) is counting on cooperation with Russia in areas, which represent mutual interest for both countries. This was stated by the head of the US State Department of Anthony Blinken, reports TASS with reference to EN-Bi.
According to him, the United States is interested in working together on arms control issues. “We have acted, extending the DSNB [Agreement on measures to further reduce and limit the strategic offensive arms],” said Blinken.
Earlier, the head of the State Department recalled the consequences of “aggressive and irresponsible” actions of Moscow. If they continue, then the US President Joe Biden “will hold down his word,” Blinken stressed.
At the end of March Blinken said that in Washington, Russia is close to the completion of the “hostile” actions of Russia and intend to take serious measures. According to him, in the US, various examples of Russian aggression are seen – hacker attacks, election interference, the use of chemical weapons.
