Commissioner on the internal market of Thierry Breton, who oversees the European Commission (EC), estimated the period for the start of production of the Russian Preparation “Satellite V” in Europe. His words reports TASS.
He noted that the European Medicinal Agency (EMA) will examine the vaccination, but the approval of the drug in Europe is not equal to the ability to produce it in the desired quantities. Breton said that there will take several months for capacity building.
“For our goal – to instill all the Europeans in the summer -” satellite V “will come simply too late,” the European Commissioner summed up.
At the end of March, Breton said that if the drug is tested in the coming weeks or months and will be found a way to produce it in Europe, it will take 10-14 months to release the first dose party.
