In Russia, from April 11, the rules for the use of maternal capital have changed, reported to the Ministry of Russian Gazeta.
Now the Russians, who previously sent the Matkapital to form the fundamental part of the pension, can change and withdraw funds from non-state pension funds.
As explained in the department, we are talking about cases when the mother first decided to send funds to the accumulative part of the pension, and then recalled them to use in other destinations. Previously, if these funds were not used, and “hung” on the pension fund.
Now women will have half a year from the date of returning money to the account of the Pension Fund to decide how to dispose and write a statement. If a Russian woman does not decide for six months, it can appeal to the pension fund and ask to extend the term. If it does not do this, then the default money will go to the accumulative pension.
Earlier, the Government simplified the rules for using maternal capital to improve housing conditions. Changes will affect cases when funds are sent to compensate for the cost of construction or reconstruction of a residential building. Now it is not necessary to provide information from the act of completed construction work in the Pension Fund.
