60 years ago, in April 1961, one of the leading enterprises of the center of exploitation of the objects of ground-based space infrastructure – the design office “Motor” (included in the state corporation “Roskosmos”). It is noteworthy that exactly five days later the first man of the planet flew into space – Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin.
History of the design bureau “Motor” is the story of our space. Specialists of the enterprise built the world’s first cosmodrome – Baikonur, designed and created equipment and stands for all missiles and spacecraft, participated in the legendary launch of the Universal Rocket and Space Transport System “Energy-Buran”.
Main specialization – carrying out research and development work on the creation of poster and lifting and transport ground-based equipment of rocket and space complexes, the creation of systems of pneumohydraulic and plastic depreciation, systems for ensuring temperature and humidity modes, refueling fuel components, power supply, monitoring , ensuring the operation and technical re-equipment of the objects of the terrestrial infrastructure of Baikonur cosmodromes, Plesetsk, providing all stages of creating and operating rocket-space technology. Many samples of technology created in the Bureau walls, according to its technical solutions, are unique and became defining in the development of a whole class of special techniques.
An important activity of the branch is the creation of a family of vehicles for delivery of large-sized goods weighing up to 200 tons, the basis of which are – an autonomous system of additional energy, the electrotransmission of trailed units on the basis of the valve-inductor electric motors, the system of automatic and remote control of the trailers of trailing links of road trains . For this purpose, a large amount of research work is carried out.
Today, the Cenni branch – the design office “Motor” is a modern, consistently working division with a significant creative, scientific and design potential, which has its own production, research and test base, which provides the release of high-tech, high-tech equipment in the interests of the rocket and space industry .
