In Transnistrian, they told about “hawkid attacks” to Russian peacekeepers

The President of the Unrecognized Transnistrian Moldavian Republic (PMR) Vadim Krasnevsky in an interview with Sputnik stated that today the conclusion of Russian peacekeepers from the region is not possible, despite the “hrictest attacks” of Moldovan politicians. Video reclining is available on YouTube.

According to him, many politicians and governments see in the Russian peacekeeping contingent of “green men” and the threat of their safety, and therefore insist on their imminent conclusion from the region. “I see in peacekeepers those who retain the world on our land, (…) and creates a platform for peace negotiations,” Krasnevsky told.

He also advised critics to rethink the grounds for attacks to the military and try to understand the reasons for the desires of the PMR residents to preserve Russian military bases on their land. “We just love them, we hope for them, they are a guarantor of peaceful coexistence,” added the president.

At the end of November 2020, Moldova President Maya Sandu called on to bring Russian peacekeeping contingent from Transnistria. In her opinion, a “mild approach” in the conflict settlement negotiations was not effective. She believes that the status of the region after reintegration must be found, but opposed the previously proposed federalization of Moldova.

In turn, the Kremlin said that for the withdrawal of the military must first “establish a normal dialogue between the Transnistria and the rest of Moldova.” Moscow promised that peacekeepers would leave the republic after “matures a certain situation”.
