According to the publication, the products will rise in price by an average of 10 percent. The reason for this was the increase in the cost of oil (key component of mayonnaise), packaging and fuel. Manufacturers note that price increases does not compensate for the cost increase, but only allow to avoid damages.
Against the background of rising prices for products at the end of last year, the Government concluded a number of agreements on stabilizing prices for sugar and sunflower oil of Russian production. Now the maximum oil prices should be 95 rubles per liter in wholesale trade and 110 rubles in retail. It was originally assumed that the agreement would be valid until April, he was expressed later until October.
April 6 reported that the Government will allocate nine billion rubles to Russian sugar and sunflower oil producers. Funds from the Cabinet Reserve Fund will be distributed “to reimburse part of the cost of the production and implementation of refined bottled oil of sunflower and sugar white in retail enterprises.” It is specified that compensation will be put on enterprises that sell oil products at a price not higher than 95 rubles per liter and sugar are no more than 36 rubles per kilogram. Based on the average market price, compensation will be 10 rubles for each liter of vegetable oil and 5 rubles per kilogram of sugar.
