Rising fuel prices in Russia explained by frosts

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) explained the reasons for the increase in fuel prices in Russia in the current year. Among other factors, the FAS mentioned the restrictions on oil production under the OPEC and Frost agreement, RIA Novosti reports.

As the representative of the service explained, the basis for the decision to enhance the monitoring was “unfair behavior of the market participants in separate regions.

Earlier in April, it became known that the government was thinking over a new way to combat gasoline prices, since the current measures do not work.
