Truck with rockets for “Poles-C1” turned over under Belgrade

Military truck, transported rockets for the Russian air defense system “Pentesier-C1”, turned over on a bypass road near Belgrade. This is reported by Serbian edition Mondo.

The car with three rockets gone from the road, one of them fell out of the truck. As a result of the accident, three military were injured, their condition is not specified.

According to the state authority of the “Road of Serbia”, movement on the ring road is suspended in both directions. Rockets were transported to the Pasulyansk Livadu Polygon.

The first part of the Russian rocket and cannon complex “Poles-C1” was delivered to Serbia in February 2020. The final delivery arrangements were achieved by the Minister of Defense of Serbia Alexandar Vulinov and the head of the Ministry of Defense of Russia Sergey Shoigu during the meeting on February 17.

In 2018, Serbia received MiG-29 fighters from Russia, tanks, armored vehicles, radar stations and helicopters within the framework of contracts for the modernization of their armed forces.
