Money will stand out for the funeral of every American who deceased from COVID-19. The program will be available for families, regardless of the level of their income, provided that they will present the necessary documents, and also did not receive similar benefits on another program.
Since the number of people who will be eligible for participation is unknown, at the moment there is no final value of the program, however, the publication notes, one can already assume that it can be several billion dollars.
The launch of the new initiative is associated with colossal losses from coronavirus in the country. So, today, more than 557 thousand Americans have died from COVID-19.
