Nuclear submarines (APD) of the projects of 955 “Borey” and 955A “Borea-A” of the Navy (Navy) of Russia may constantly threaten for the US Navy (Navy), the American magazine of The National Interest says.
The publication reminds that in the coming years, Russian submariners will be able to have at least twelve submarine, which, with relatively small size and size of the crew, can be transferred to sixteen ballistic missiles R-30 “Bulava-30”.
According to The National Interest, by 2022, Russia will build eight strategic submarines. The publication writes that the APL of the project and the 955a “Borea-A”, despite some of the software in the development of the program, will be the core of the Russian nuclear triad until 2040.
