A quarter of Russians refused four days and new holidays

More than a quarter of Russians (26 percent) believe that the country does not need a transition to a four-day working week and new public holidays. This is stated in the Superjob study.

The decision to transition to the four-day Most considers it necessary to leave for the employer (47 percent). Respondents refused to decide on the reduced week due to the lack of clarity in the financial aspect. About 30 percent of the respondents spoke in favor of the mandatory input of the abbreviated working week for all companies.

The four-day working week in Russia can be tested on volunteer companies during the year. Such a proposal was previously expressed by the public ombudsman on compliance with entrepreneurs’ rights in the field of observance of labor legislation Dmitry Porchkin.

Earlier, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs, Sergei Vostomsov acknowledged the transition to the four-day working week inevitable.
