President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with representatives of the Minsk manufacturing leather association assured that new decisions will not be made to increase retirement age and announced its readiness to retire soon, says BelTA.
“I myself will soon be a pensioner with you. Well, I will work up to 80 years, and from 80 I will go to a pension?”, – said Lukashenko. He noted that otherwise he will be “hard to climb the plane” and not fall on the steps.
According to politics, the state has no opportunity to establish a low retirement age, but above 63 years for men and 58 years old for women will not increase. He stressed that he could dispose of people retirement and in 50 years, but in this case the costs of providing parents will fall on young people.
“No mother, none father, never say: Let my daughter or son pay for me there. They will say: yes I will work it better for 3-5 years,” added the president.
Earlier, Lukashenko urged Belarusians to gain patience and promised that after his departure from the country there will be other presidents. He stated that now the citizens of the republic live “no worse than others”, and the world around them “Oshlel”, as people “lost orientation”.
