President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko spoke about the immune of Belarusians to the ideas of fascism during events dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the tragedy in the Belarusian village of Khatyn. His words reports TASS.
Lukashenko said that such situations begin with the ideas of “racial and genetic, any other superiority of some nations over others, from separation on top and minic”. According to him, such ideas have adherents worldwide and at present. “Bylaw God, the fascist ideology of Alien to our Belarusians, whose genetic memory has become a real national immunity,” he said.
Khatyn village was destroyed on March 22, 1943. Shortly before that, the partisans were fascinated by the autocolonna of the fascists, as a result of which a German officer was killed. In response, the punitives surrounded the village, drove all the inhabitants in the barn and set fire to him. People trying to escape from the fire were shot. As a result, 149 civilians were killed, including 75 minors, and the village itself was burned.
