US: Russians convicted for ten years for cybercrime

In the US, Russian Sergey Medvedev convicted for ten years for cybercrime. This is reported on the US Mighty Site.

Medvedev accused of involvement in the transnational organization Infraud. According to the Office, the Organization was engaged in the acquisition, sale and distribution of abducted identification data, information on compromised debit and credit cards, personal information, banking and financial data, malicious computer programs.

In June 2020, Medvedev in the Court of the United States recognized the guilt in cybercrime. In February 2018, the Ministry of Justice reported the accusation of 36 people in involvement in Infraud activities. Then it became known about the arrest of 13 people who entered the organization.
