Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustine dismissed the first deputy minister of Finance Tatiana Nesterenko. As stated in the message on the government website, it goes to another job.
Nesterenko came to the Ministry of Finance in 1998, a few months before the default. Since 2012, the official has raised the first deputy head of the department. In this post, she oversaw budget politics, have time to work with four finance ministers.
Mishoustin called Nesterenko a professional professional who has made a significant contribution to strengthening the financial system of the country. In turn, the head of the Ministry of Finance Anton Siluanov assured that the nest left to her would be fully used in further work. What kind of position goes Nesterenko, does not specify.
In February, the silhouans lost another deputy – Anton Drozdov, in the past, the head of the Pension Fund, who had time to work in the Ministry of Finance a little more than a year. In December 2020, it was decided to reduce the number of deputy finance ministers from 12 to 10, and the number of first deposits – from two to one.
Dismissal budget curator occurs against the background of problems with its execution. Against the background of possible sanctions, the Ministry of Finance began to experience difficulties with the increase in the public debt, because of which the silhuans did not exclude that the Central Bank would have to include a “printing machine” and provide additional liquidity. Otherwise, it will not be possible to finance the costs of national projects.
