President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that he did not promise to Russian colleague Vladimir Putin to hold a constitutional reform in the country. The fact that he revealed the details of bilateral negotiations, reports BelTA in its Telegram Channel.
According to him, this topic was addressed at a meeting in Sochi “Only in general terms.”
“Recently, when a constitutional reform went, the Commission works, everyone began to write there: Lukashenko promised Putin to constitutional reform. I never promised anyone anyone, except for you – my own people. What Russia has to have to constitutional reform in Belarus ? “,” said Lukashenko.
He stressed that Putin was just interested in his plans and thoughts on this.
Earlier on March 19, Lukashenko stated that there are candidates for new presidential elections. Among decent successors, he called the Governor of the Grodno Region Vladimir Kracani and his assistant in the Yury Karaeva region.
