Roskosmos cosmonauts, currently working on board the International Space Station, and specialists from the TsNIIMash Mission Control Center (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation) will work on a further plan to eliminate leaks in the Zvezda module on the ISS on March 8, 2021. “Today, as part of the work to eliminate leaks in the Zvezda module, the crew of the International Space Station under the guidance of specialists from the ISS Russian Segment Flight Control Operational Group will work out in detail a further plan of repair and restoration work,” the press service noted .
The commander of the 64th long-term expedition, cosmonaut of Roscosmos Sergei Ryzhikov and flight engineer of ISS-64, cosmonaut of Roscosmos Sergei Kud-Sverchkov, in consultation with the Mission Control Center near Moscow, will gradually study the radiogram of further actions and prepare the necessary equipment for processing the surface of the module, applying sealant and patches.
