United States has confirmed its intention to continue to interfere with “Nord Stream-2”

The US intends to continue to interfere with the construction of Nord Stream 2. This was stated by the head of the press service of the American Foreign Ministry, Ned Price, reports TASS.

“The US administration is focused, and our efforts remain the same, to prevent the completion of the pipeline. US President Joe Biden sees this as a bad deal,” he said.

Earlier on March 9, US congressmen asked US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to explain the absence of sanctions against organizations involved in the construction of Nord Stream 2. 40 Republican senators expressed concern over the fact that the Biden administration did not impose sanctions on the ships and companies involved in the construction of the pipeline, while all information about them is in the public domain.
