Messages about a new increase in the retirement age in Russia are a provocation and “black populism”. Thus, the words of the State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Valery Rashkin, were commented on by the first deputy head of the United Russia faction, Andrei Isaev, reports Duma TV.
According to him, black populism, unlike white, is when, instead of promises, people spread fakes and lies in order to play on the nerves of voters. Isaev was especially outraged that the deputy was talking about raising the retirement age.
United Russia accused Rashkin of undermining the foundations and interests of the state, as well as working in the interests of provocateurs. Isaev recalled the words of the writer Yulian Semenov that a friend of provocateurs cannot be an honest person.
The Communist previously announced that in 2022, after the elections to the State Duma, due to the deficit of the Pension Fund, the authorities will put forward a proposal to raise the retirement age. Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov called this information erroneous. State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, in turn, said that the dissemination of such information for the deputy is unacceptable.
In February, it became known that the Ministry of Finance classified the preparation of a bill on a new pension reform. Apparently, it should talk about replacing the funded part of pensions.
