- March 15, 1936 – the beginning of the development of the ORM-65 liquid-propellant rocket engine for the RP-318 rocket plane and the 212 cruise missile;
- March 30, 1957 – a fire test of the flight version of the “package” of the rocket was carried out. R-7 launch vehicle with RD-107 and RD-108 liquid propellant rocket engines in Zagorsk;
- March 1957 – the first bench firing test of the R-12 launch vehicle with RD-214 liquid propellant rocket engine was performed at the stand in Zagorsk;
- March 1958 – technical assistance to factories No. 19 in Perm and No. 29 in Omsk in the development and organization of serial production of liquid-propellant rocket engines RD-214;
- March 20 1958 – the Primorsky branch of OKB-456 (branch number 1) was organized near Vyborg in the Leningrad region;
- March 16, 1962 – the first launch of the Kosmos-1 satellite was carried out using the Kosmos launch vehicle “with an RD-214 and RD-119 liquid-propellant rocket engine installed on it;
- March 17, 1999 – the first full-scale model of a liquid-propellant rocket kettle engine RD-191 for the family of launch vehicles “Angara” was delivered to the State Space Research and Production Center named after M.V. Khrunichev (now part of the Roscosmos State Corporation);
- March 28, 1999 – the first test launch of the Zenit carrier rocket with RD-171 and RD-120 liquid-propellant rocket engines was successfully carried out under the program ” Sea launch “from a floating platform;
- March 31, 1999 – certification tests of the RD-180 liquid-propellant rocket engine have been completed.
