Russia has simplified early retirement in several professions

Russia has simplified early retirement for several professions, such as teachers, doctors, pilots and firefighters. The decree on this was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Their seniority will include periods of study and additional education. At this time, employees should retain jobs and wages, and employers are required to deduct pension insurance contributions for them, the cabinet stressed.

Previously, only the time spent at work, periods of temporary disability, annual and additional paid vacations, periods of transfer of a pregnant woman to work, excluding the impact of harmful factors, were counted in the experience of doctors and teachers.

Earlier, the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin denied information about a possible increase in the retirement age in Russia. He stressed that this issue is currently not being considered and is not on the agenda, and the statements circulated earlier have no basis.
