Russia and Belarus will hold joint tactical exercises

Russia and Belarus will hold two joint tactical exercises in March. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense, RIA Novosti reports.

The airborne troops of Russia and the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus will take part in the maneuvers.

Exercises dedicated to peacekeeping topics will be held at the Russian polyvno training ground from 9 to 20 March. They will be led by the commander of the Ulyanovsk Separate Guards Airborne Assault Formation of the Airborne Forces, Colonel Vladimir Seliverstov.

In parallel with this, a joint Belarusian-Russian tactical exercise will be held at the Osipovichsky training ground in Belarus from March 15 to 27. There, the paratroopers will work out joint actions of the reinforced parachute battalion in defense and offensive day and night.
