Businessman Ruben Vardanyan named the main professions of the future that will appear due to the transformation of the labor market. He told about this in an interview with RBC. According to the billionaire, the previous competencies are losing their relevance due to the formation of a new business environment.
“We have come to a stage where the professions that everyone is used to, such as CFO, Chief Legal Officer or Chief Compliance Officer, are asking the question: what should these people do?” – said Vardanyan. He is confident that soon those who know how to combine the efforts of specialists from different fields will be in demand.
As an example, the entrepreneur cited a “data synthesizer”: in his view, this is a person who can operate with gigantic amounts of information, analyze them and find a use for them
As for professions that may become unnecessary in the future, we are talking about accountants, truck drivers and taxi drivers. The demand for accountants is falling against the backdrop of the growth of digitalization and the massive transition to electronic document management, and drones may replace drivers in the future.
In addition, in the coming years, teachers of foreign languages are at risk of being unclaimed on the market: this is also largely due to the development of technology.
