A record high number of Americans – 77 percent – stated a negative attitude towards Russia in a Gallup poll. This is stated on the Gallup News website, where she publishes news about her work.
The fact that they disliked Russia and have a “very negative” attitude towards it was said by 36 percent of Americans, another 41 percent spoke of a “generally negative” attitude. A favorable attitude remained among 22 percent of US residents surveyed.
This is the lowest result since 1989, when the first such Gallup poll was conducted. Last year, the US unfavorable attitude towards Russia was 72 percent.
The best opinion, judging by the last poll, among Americans about Canada – 92 percent of people spoke positively about it, only 6 percent negatively. Great Britain, France, Japan and Germany also became leaders by a small margin from Canada.
North Korea is the worst in the United States – only 11 percent of the positive attitude. They are also negatively disposed towards Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan.
1021 respondents participated in the study, the possible statistical error is estimated at 4 percent.
