Lukashenko’s son fired from post of presidential aide

The eldest son of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko Viktor was fired from his post as Assistant to the Head of State for National Security. BelTA informs about it.

The corresponding decree was signed by the President on February 26. It is reported that the resignation of Viktor Lukashenko is connected with his transfer to an elective position.

On February 26, the son of the head of state took over the chair of the National Olympic Committee (NOC). He replaced his father Alexander Lukashenko, who headed the department since 1997, in this position. Viktor Lukashenko has been the first vice-president of the NOC since 2019.
