The Kremlin reacted to the information that the number of Russians financially affected by the coronavirus pandemic has increased, Interfax reports.
“Many have felt a change in their income for the worse – this is obvious, and this has happened all over the world,” said the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov. He pointed out that the Kremlin does not agree that this problem is more acute in Russia than in other countries.
This is how the Kremlin commented on a recent study by NielsenIQ, which says that the share of Russians financially affected by COVID has doubled and exceeded the global rate.
