British police convicted of unexplained brutality against blacks

The British police show disproportionate brutality towards blacks and other ethnic minorities: they are more often searched and harshly detained. Although law enforcement officers have been convicted of this for a very long time, no understandable reasons for this situation and ways to fix it have yet been found, Sky News reports, citing a report from the Royal Inspectorate of Police, Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS).

“35 years after the introduction of street searches, no one has been able to understand the effect they produce. (…) Disproportion [towards minorities] persists, and no one has given a satisfactory explanation for this,” the report says. .

There are also data for the past two years: the likelihood of being searched on the street for non-whites in the UK is four times higher than for whites. Blacks do the worst: they are used against them 5.7 times more often than against whites, and 9 times more often with stun guns.

Earlier in February, it was reported that Allegiant Air was accused of racism after the crew of the plane suspended a group of black teenagers from the flight: they refused to wear medical masks.
