Artificial meat arrives at McDonald’s

One of the world’s largest producers of artificial meat, Beyond Meat, has agreed to supply several fast food chains, including McDonald’s, writes Business Insider.

Artificial meat came to McDonald’s through a new burger called McPlant (from the English plant). At the same time, McDonald’s is going to adapt to artificial meat and other items of its menu. Not only Beyond Meat will be involved in this, but also its main competitor – Impossible Foods.

Artificial pork, chicken and eggs are expected to appear at McDonald’s in the near future. Beyond Meat also announced a deal with Yum! Brands, which owns KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut.

Beyond Burger, another artificial meat producer, has previously entered into similar agreements with Starbucks, Denny’s and Dunkin ‘.
