The world may face new chemical attacks, similar to the incident in British Salisbury. Defense Secretary Ben Wallace warned about this, Sky News quoted him as saying.
A British official said the risk of poisoning-like attacks in Salisbury has increased as anyone can now learn on the Internet how to make chemical weapons.
According to Wallace, now that many people around the world have gained access to this kind of knowledge, attackers will be able to launch attacks using chemical, biological, radiological and even nuclear weapons.
In March 2018, a former GRU officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia were found unconscious on a street in the British city of Salisbury. London said they had been poisoned with the Novichok nerve agent. The British side considers the Russian leadership to be involved in the incident. Moscow denies the charges.
