The opening of a new golf resort of former US President Donald Trump in Dubai has been postponed indefinitely, writes Bloomberg. It may take place no earlier than 2022.
The Trump World Golf Club in Dubai’s traditionally populated area of expats was originally slated for 2017. Since then, however, only an announcement has been posted on the Trump Organization website that it will take place “soon”.
The publication refers to one of the leaders of the construction site, who claims that the work will not be completed until at least next year. However, the golf club will be Trump’s first business venture since leaving the White House.
In addition, he must demonstrate how strong the support for Trump is in the region in which he has historically been popular.
