The international consulting company Knight Frank has announced the requirements for the Russian ultra-rich, which they must comply with in order to be among the top one percent of the country’s richest people. The data were presented during the presentation of the company, the correspondent of “Lenta.ru” reports.
According to the authors, it is necessary to have a fortune of 400 thousand dollars to get into the number of one percent of the richest Russians. According to this indicator, Russia is in 20th place in the world.
Leadership is held by Monaco, whose residents need $ 7.9 million. Also in the top three are Switzerland and the United States, whose residents need $ 5.1 and 4.4 million, respectively.
Knight Frank uses its own classification of wealthy people. According to her, individuals with a fortune of more than a million dollars are called hynets (from English – high net value), people with a fortune above $ 30 million are called ultra-hinets.
Earlier it became known that in Russia there are fewer ultra-highnets (people with a fortune of more than $ 30 million). Their number decreased by a thousand people per year (to 8015). In Russia, the super-rich will increase by almost 30 percent by 2025 (up to 10,346 people), analysts believe.
