Revelation about construction of a 145-meter yacht for Abramovich

Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich will receive a new luxury 145-meter yacht this year. This is reported by Forbes, citing sources.

As it became known to the publication, the ship is being built at the German shipyard Lloyd Werft, where the 115-meter expedition yacht Luna was previously built for Abramovich. Solaris will have a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure with teak decks.

Also, the yacht will have eight decks, a gym, a swimming pool, an elevator, a helipad and a jacuzzi. The vessel can accommodate up to 36 passengers and a crew of 60.

The boat is currently being finished. The ship is planned to be launched in early March.

Earlier, the British newspaper The Independent apologized to Abramovich for the publication, which said that sanctions should be imposed against the billionaire. The publication reported that it “erroneously published statements” by the head of regional headquarters Alexei Navalny (founder of the Anti-Corruption Foundation, included by the Ministry of Justice in the register of organizations performing the functions of a foreign agent) Leonid Volkov that Abramovich is “a porter of suitcases with President Putin’s illegal wealth.”
