Russia will expel a diplomat from the Estonian Embassy in Moscow in response to similar actions by the Estonian side in relation to an employee of the Russian Embassy in Tallinn, RIA Novosti reports citing the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The ministry said that the announcement of persona non grata and the expulsion of the Russian diplomat from Estonia is a groundless step of the Estonian government.
Estonian Ambassador Margus Laidre was summoned to the diplomatic department and expressed a strong protest to him in connection with the expulsion of an employee of the Russian embassy.
