An application form for employment, signed by Apple founder Steve Jobs, will be sold at an auction in London for 15 thousand pounds (1.5 million rubles). The Daily Mail reports.
The statement did not indicate the position for which Jobs applied, but noted the ability to use a computer, calculator and electronics, as well as design skills. The document dates back to 1973, a year before the businessman met Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, joining the startup Atari.
It is noted that 15 thousand pounds is the starting price, and most likely the lot will be traded much more expensive. It was last sold in 2018 for 134 thousand pounds (13.7 million rubles).
In 1973, Jobs was 18 years old. He dropped out of his studies at the prestigious Reed College with a degree in English Literature. According to the Daily Mail, while Jobs applied for an example job, he lived with his friends, handed in soda bottles and took free food at the local Hare Krishna temple.
Steve Jobs died in October 2011. The businessman’s cause of death was cancer.
