Most Russians (almost 60 percent) were dissatisfied with their work. In addition, the employer loyalty index, which has been growing over the past four years, has collapsed by five points in 2020, according to a study by the NAFI think tank.
Russians are not ready to recommend their boss to friends and acquaintances, but they are not going to change their place of work. During the pandemic, many companies decided to cut wages, send employees on vacations at their own expense, or cut staff, which affected employee loyalty.
“Critics” are most often found among representatives of the older age group and young people under 24 (67 and 65 percent, respectively). However, only 17 percent of Russians would like to change jobs, 71 percent are not ready to take any decisive steps.
Earlier, the Russians named the reasons for their dissatisfaction with their superiors. Among them is manipulation. Employees faced threats of lower wages, layoffs, or increased workload. About 29 percent indicated that they do not consider their boss to be a competent professional. Another 24 percent said that senior colleagues show aggression towards subordinates.
