The savings in the Russian Pension Fund (PFR) are clearly not enough, which is why the “hole” is constantly being closed from the federal budget. This practice is vicious and should be stopped, Vera Ganzia, a member of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes, said on the air of the radio station “Moskva Says”, RIA Novosti reports.
According to her, to solve the problem, you should use another option for receiving contributions, and there are such opportunities. But when the retirement age is raised, the deputy representing the Communist Party faction called the promises to the old people “get a thousand rubles and go to Europe” as “bureaucratic rudeness”.
Ganzya stressed that the pension problem should be dealt with systematically, and it is remembered only before the elections. This approach, she stressed, is unacceptable.
The idea of opening an individual retirement account, which will receive contributions, the representative of the Communist Party called unsuccessful. She noted that inflation will eat up all the savings that a working person will put aside, so the pension will clearly not be enough for him.
In the fall of 2018, Ganzia complained about the low salary of the deputies, after which they collected help for the deputy on the Internet. Later, she explained that she spends most of her income on entertainment expenses, material assistance to people, and she does not have enough funds for this.
Ganzia is also one of the authors of the bill on the protection of Russians from the rudeness of officials with fines of up to half a million rubles, which was never adopted.
