Guinea has recorded four deaths of Ebola for the first time since 2016. This was announced by the country’s Minister of Health Remy Lamakha, TASS reports with reference to the AFP agency.
As the minister specified, deaths were recorded in the region of the southeastern province of Nzerekore. “We are very concerned,” added Lamacha.
World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Andhanom Ghebreyesus reported that information about two possible cases of Ebola infection. Confirmatory testing is underway.
