President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that on his initiative, the country checks the traffic police, whether they take bribes. The video is available on the Telegram channel “Pool of the First”, close to the press service of the head of state.
“The last check was carried out – none of them took it. One argued on this topic, to my shame, opposite the Palace of Independence. He was offered, he began to discuss this topic, and then:” No, no, no, go. Not today and not tomorrow, go “. That is, this feeling worked for him. And there were dozens of approaches – not one. This is pride! You are my children,” the president joked.
Earlier, Lukashenka called on supporters of the peaceful and calm development of the country to clench their teeth, get together and go through a difficult period.
On February 11, Lukashenko, speaking at the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly, said that the draft of the new Constitution would be submitted to a referendum in early 2022. He noted that, having adopted it, many laws will have to be changed. And then, according to Lukashenka, the question of “when will he leave” will be resolved.
According to him, the powers of the president will be radically redistributed, since at the moment they are difficult for one person. At the same time, Belarus should remain a presidential republic, Lukashenko believes.
