An American from Lake Forest, California, contracted the coronavirus three weeks after being vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine. Fox News reports.
A man named Gary Michael (Gary Micheal) went to the doctors for an illness unrelated to COVID-19, but the test results for infection were positive. According to the American, this happened after he received the second dose of the vaccine.
KPC Health spokesman Dr. Tirso del Junco Jr. told CBS that he was not surprised by the news of the infection of an already vaccinated person.
“I think I’ve heard about six or seven cases [of infection among vaccinated] in the last three weeks, and I think we will continue to see similar cases more and more,” he said.
On January 31, it was reported that a member of the US House of Representatives, Democrat from Massachusetts Stephen Lynch contracted the coronavirus after he was vaccinated with Pfizer / BioNTech. He had no symptoms of the disease.
