The draft of the new Constitution of Belarus will be submitted to a referendum early next year. Such terms were set by President Alexander Lukashenko during his speech at the 6th All-Belarusian People’s Assembly, Tut.by reports on his Telegram channel.
He noted that by adopting the new Constitution, many laws will have to be redone. And then, according to Lukashenka, the question of “when will he leave” will be resolved.
The President of Belarus also said that the powers of the head of state will be radically redistributed, since at the moment they are difficult for one person. At the same time, Lukashenko stressed that Belarus should remain a presidential republic.
