US predicted “tearing apart” over Trump’s impeachment

A lawyer for former US President Donald Trump predicted that the impeachment procedure would “tear the country apart.” Written by The New York Post.

In his opinion, the process could lead the United States to the state of the Civil War of 1861-1865. The lawyer added that “new wounds” could be opened because of the trials over the politician. Sean also criticized Trump’s House of Representatives accusers for allegedly hiding behind a desire for unity.

On February 7, it was reported that US lawmakers may suspend the impeachment procedure of the former president on the evening of February 12, if it lasts until that time.

On January 14, the US House of Representatives voted to impeach Trump in connection with the riots in Washington. The last vote was the second attempt to remove Trump from office. Democrats motivate the decision to impeach a politician, including by the fact that after the process is over, he will not be able to run for president. This is the first time the US has attempted to remove a state leader from office after the end of his presidential term.
