Gazprom’s subsidiary and its main contractor Gazstroyprom are constantly delaying the salaries of shift workers for a period from two weeks to one and a half months. It is reported by VTimes with reference to the employees of the contractor.
About 19 thousand people work in the largest subsidiaries of Gazstroyprom. On social networks, workers call Gazstroyprom “sharaga”, note that times have come “worse than the 90s,” and also complain that “workers like us are used to build factories and buy yachts.
The December salary cannot be received by the employees of GSP-4 (they are building Pikalevskaya and Gryazovetskaya compressor stations) and GSP-service (arrangement of everyday life for the contractor’s “daughters”). In April last year, shift workers “GSP-4” went on strike, demanding payment of salaries for February. Then they received advances for March, but all the money was paid only at the end of June
Gazprom’s order book is 1.5 trillion rubles, last year the company received 240 billion rubles in revenue, and in December it placed bonds for 231 billion.
In December it was reported that the mega-contractor Gazstroyprom, created by Gazprom, had received almost all contracts under the investment program. Its total budget for 2021 is 902.4 billion rubles, another 511.6 billion is borrowing.
Only 49 percent of Gazstroyprom is owned by Gazprom, the rest is controlled by structures associated with Gazprombank, as well as individuals.
