WHO denies rumors of link between vaccinations and infertility

The World Health Organization (WHO) has denied rumors of a link between vaccinations and infertility. This was stated by the director of the WHO Department of Immunization and Vaccines Kate O’Brien, RIA Novosti reports.

According to her, there are no such vaccines that would lead to infertility. The specialist also said that claims about the effect of vaccination on DNA are not true. She explained that WHO now has two vaccines based on mRNA, and such RNA cannot become DNA or change the DNA of human cells. O’Brien added that most vaccines are designed to deliver the protein themselves, or a small portion of the germ they are intended to target.

Earlier, American scientists from ElicioTherapeutics created an adjuvant substance that increases the effectiveness of vaccines against COVID-19. The created AMP-CpG compound delivers the vaccine antigen directly to the lymph nodes, where antibodies are produced. This reduces the dosage of vaccines against coronavirus tenfold, while maintaining the same level of protection.
