First stable release of aqtinstall, an alternative Qt installer

Available project release aqtinstall 1.0 , which develops a Qt Company independent downloader and Qt installer in response to the discontinuation of providing the official offline installers . Version 1.0 is being marketed as the first release ready for general use. The project code is written in Python and is distributed under the MIT license.

The aqtinstall utility automatically downloads pre-built Qt assemblies for a given target platform (Linux, macOS and Windows) and can be used in environments with continuous integration systems (Github Actions, Travis-CI, CircleCI, Azure-Pipelines, AppVeyor, etc.) in which there is no way to run the interactive Qt installer. The new version adds an option “ –noarchives ” to add previously excluded Qt plugins to existing installations.
