The Khabarovsk Oil Refinery (refinery) on Saturday, February 6, began producing AI-95 gasoline. A message about this appeared on the official website of the regional government.
The enterprise has reached full capacity, which will allow to fill the needs of the gas stations of the Khabarovsk Territory in the near future.
“The production of gasoline at the Khabarovsk refinery continues, the enterprise has reached full production capacity. According to the directorate of the refinery, presented to the regional committee for the development of the fuel and energy complex, over the past day, the refinery produced 1.8 thousand tons of AI-92 gasoline. Since today the day the plant also began to produce AI-95 gasoline, it will be issued 1.5 thousand tons, “- specified in the message.
The authorities also asked the residents of the region not to buy fuel in reserve, so as not to create a stir. Among other things, they urged not to buy fuel off hand, as its quality has not been confirmed.
Earlier, in the queues at gas stations in the city, they began to sell places, and on the Internet there were advertisements for the sale of fuel at a price almost twice the market price. For example, the author of one of these ads offered a liter of Ai-92 gasoline for 75 rubles, Ai-95 – for 80 rubles, Ai-101 – for 100 rubles. The AI-98 and diesel were not on sale.
The fuel shortage in the region arose after the gasoline production stopped due to technical problems. This led to huge queues of dozens of cars for gas stations. Drivers had to wait several hours, and some had to wait at night. Local authorities called the gasoline situation in the region extraordinary.
