An unknown person secretly made his way to the Andrews airbase located in the US state of Maryland, which is used to organize flights for the US president. ABC TV channel reports about the incident with reference to the official representative of the base.
It is specified that the airplane of the head of state, Air Force One, is located at the said base. “A person who does not have permission has gained access to the joint Andrews base,” the channel’s source said. He added that an investigation is underway into the incident.
The TV channel notes that it is not yet known exactly when the man visited the base. There is no information about whether he managed to get to the aircraft. Head of State Joe Biden continues to use the facility and plans to take another flight on February 5, this time to Delaware.
